Of course it is, Forget about the kettle switching off too. once the water has boiled and the kettle switched off the eggs will still be cooking as the water cools.
Some I know of cook hard boiled eggs in the dish washer

Yes, in theory, but it is not desirable and impractical for the following reasons:

1. You would have to tape down the 'on' switch on the electric kettle to ensure it didn't switch off the heating element once it reached boiling point (electric kettles are designed to shut off their heating element when they reach boiling point). To boil the egg you would need the water to be boiling for a period of time (not just the few seconds between when the kettle reaches boiling point and when it shuts off the heating element).

2. You would need to take the eggs out of the kettle at some point to test whether they were cooked. The test is to see whether when you spin them on a flat surface they spin quickly (boiled) or slowly (uncooked).

3. You would need to be VERY CAREFUL NOT TO ELECTROCUTE YOURSELF. When putting eggs in the water or taking them out, you would want to ensure the plug was not connected to the mains.

4. It is likely you would suffer from some steam burns during this process. An electric kettle is designed to keep in steam (like a pot with a lid on it) so it is likely that this design feature will mean that steam is concentrated in an around the kettle when it is open - the same place you will be using your hands! So uh...yeah...use an implement not your hands and be dang careful.

Yes, as long as the kettle is powerful enough to bring the water to a temperature of about 212 degrees fahrenheit (100 degrees Celsius). which is the boiling point of water. If what you mean to ask is "can eggs be cooked hard or soft boiled style in an electric kettle". Most certainly the answer is yes. It just might take a little bit more time depending on how hot the kettle can heat the water. I must say however that according to general food preparation rules. eggs must be cooked to a temperature of 145 degrees Fahrenheit ( 63 degrees Celsius) in order to be safe for consumption.

No.It is not practical, because eggs need to be boiled for few minutes after water starts boiling & electric kettle should switch off when water starts boiling.

I might have a little, different idea for you to try. Empty the kettle. Put in 1 cup baking soda and 1 cup white vinegar. Fill the kettle with very hot to boiling water after you add the soda and vinegar. Stir to mix and let sit overnight. Drain and rinse very well. There is something about the baking soda that acts like a refresher and the vinegar will cut through slime. I use this method to sweeten the smell of my household drains.
