I live in an apartment with 6 other people. someone left the electric water kettle half full. It was left in there over winter break and now it has a faint but unmistakable scent of mildew or mold. I should also note that this kettle has only been used to boil water. Is there any way I can eliminate the odor? I googled and tried lemon juice, vinegar, etc to no avail.

okay. so i had my belly button pierced 3 weeks ago yesterday. the other day, my friend bought me a belly button bar, so i sterilized it, took out my first one, cleaned around it and put the new one in. it didn’t have much room to move, so i repeated the steps and put my old one back in. it was okay the day after(thursday) but yesterday(friday) and today, it feels painful&there is blood around the top hole(inside). im cleaning it twice a day with salt water(kettle water of course). any other ideas?does it sound like my belly piercing is infected?im really worried. thank you, much appreciatedxoxo.
I want to buy an electric water kettle that was made in Switzerland, but of course, the electrical cord would be a 220 volt instead of the U.S. 110. What would I have to do in order to be able to use it with U.S. electricity?
I eat brown rice regularly (it is the majority of what i eat on a dairly basis) and last month I moved to a university residence where stove tops are not available. All I own is an electric stainless steel water kettle (and there’s a microwave, but I don’t like using it..)
what are the guidelines to cooking brown rice using only the appliances I have? Best answers are those that avoid using microwave
